Stipple Code Series (WIP)
Hubbard Glacier. Threatened by climate change, the receding ice reveals a landscape of digital code, the fundamental language of computer technology, representing the loss of the natural world. Using her own developed code and photography of glaciers and icebergs in Alaska, this new series marks an elegiac note to her years-long series exploring glacial landscapes as the artist grapples with the memories and fates of these ecosystems and their afterlives on a digital plane as they disappear from our reality.
